The Loop for Teens

Step into The Loop, our weekly Thursday hangout for teens aged 12–18! From 4:30–5:30 p.m., this inclusive space is all about connection—homework, friends, creativity, or just relaxing with games. Free snacks provided!

Dungeons & Dragons Ages 12–18

Unleash your imagination and join our D&D adventure! Work together with other teens to explore epic worlds, solve challenges, and create your own stories. No experience needed. Thursdays, 4:30–5:30 p.m., Community Centre, Millennium Room.

Lunch 'n' Learn — Hospice

Friday, February 20, 2026. Join the conversation about Advanced Care Planning—who can make health care decisions for you, what information decision-makers need, and why these plans matter for people of all ages.

55+ Learn to Play Ukulele

Learn basic chords and strumming techniques to play hundreds of popular songs. Participants must bring a Soprano, Concert, or Tenor ukulele. No prior experience required.

Our programs and events are created to inspire you to energize your mind, exercise your body, and empower your spirit! Both calendars are available in print at either branch.

Library of Things Updates

We now have passes to the Royal Ontario Museum along with our Ontario Park Passes, Canadian Canoe Museum Pass, and Lang Pioneer Village Pass. ROM library passes cannot be used over Family Day weekend (Feb 14–16, 2026) or during March Break (Mar 14–22, 2026). We’ve also added snowshoes to our collection!

How do I become a member?

Membership is free! Sign up online or visit either branch with a piece of ID. You'll get immediate access to our full collection and all library services.

What digital resources are available?

We offer eBooks, audiobooks, and online databases through OverDrive. Access them anytime with your library card from any device.

Are events and programs free?

Most programs are free to attend. A few workshops may have a small materials fee, which is always noted in the event listing.

How do I register for a program?

Browse our Programs & Events page and click the program you're interested in. Registration is available online or by calling either branch.
